2021.12.01 07:05 GracePatriciaKelly Hospitalised with anxiety
I’m in hospital because the panic attacks/meltdowns were consuming my entire being. Changing jobs, moving house and 16 weeks of lockdown uncertainty tipped me over the edge this year.
I think the hospital environment is making things worse due to the lack of privacy, routine, and uncertainty but I can’t be at home with my partner anymore as he wasn’t coping.
Has anyone ever been in my shoes? I don’t think there is any point even mentioning my diagnosis as it’s so poorly understood. They just see it as even more anxiety, which in some ways it is.

2021.12.01 07:05 code_hunter_cc How do I declare a base model class in Flask-SQLAlchemy?
I would like to declare a base class that all other schema objectscan inherit from, for example:
class Base(db.Model): created_on = db.Column(db.DateTime, default=db.func.now()) updated_on = db.Column(db.DateTime, default=db.func.now(), onupdate=db.func.now()) Then all other schema objects can inherit from it and not have to repeatthe declaration of the two columns.
How would I do this in Flask-SQLAlchemy?
from flask.ext.sqlalchemy import SQLAlchemydb = SQLAlchemy(app)class User(db.Model): __tablename__ = 'users' id = db.Column(db.Integer, primary_key = True) email = db.Column(db.String(255), unique = True)

2021.12.01 07:05 Syrockus Advice needed about topping and opinions about my first grow.
Ok so I decided to try growing a seed found in one of my weed bags. The strain should be Amnesia Lemon Haze and I supposed it was photoperiodic. I planted it directly on a 10L pot and even though it's winter, here in South Spain we get plenty of sun and temperatures aren't that low (only during nights we go under 16°C while you can get to 27°C if you stay under the sun during the day which the plant does) and humidity stays around 50% and only gets higher on rainy days.
This is a balcony grow, the plant is getting around 6-7h of direct sun light (and 3-4h of day light) plus 6h under a 30W Led Bulb(Blue+Red+UV+IR). I know it's not that much power but it's all I can afford due to electricity bills. I'm also going with homemade organic fertilizers like coffee grounds (for now).
So the plant is on day 35 and I decided to post and update on growingmarijuana which you can see here. I was planning on topping her soon but someone there said that with such low power light it won't recover. I'd like to know what you guys here think about how the grow is going and any advice about the topping or the organic fertilizers. Thanks in advance.
Pd: Not for being rude but if you are going to tell me tu buy some expensive equipment the answer is no, I really can. I'm just trying to grow with what I have and can afford. Thanks.

Understanding the Chiropractic Adjustment
One of the biggest fears that stop many people from seeking chiropractic care is fear of the adjustment itself. Just about everyone has heard horror stories of loud noises and extreme pain when it comes to a chiropractic adjustment. We are here today to offer some insight into the true chiropractic experience and describe how your adjustment will go and what to expect. With understanding of the sounds you may hear and what you can do to make the experience less frightening and more beneficial, you can truly reap the rewards of allowing a professional to take care of your body in a holistic, safe way. Here is a brief look at what you can expect from a chiropractic adjustment and why this technique is used to reduce pain and improve mobility.
Let's just start with the scariest part of a chiropractic adjustment for many people. Is it going to hurt? The short answer is no. Many people think that chiropractors use a great deal of force when they make adjustments to the spine and other joints. The truth is the technique is more about applying the correct amount of pressure and skill in determining how to coax the joint back into its correct alignment. If you are nervous about the adjustment you may tense up or tighten your muscles when the chiropractor makes the adjustment. In this case there may be slight discomfort.
Once you learn to relax and trust you are doing the right thing for your health, things will go much more smoothly and you will begin to associate the adjustment with less pain and better health. Once you have the pain concern out of the way, the other big fear is of the noise or popping associated with a chiropractic adjustment. Lots of people are afraid that those popping sounds are the bones cracking. It's nothing as serious as all that. Think about cracking your knuckles. You often feel or hear a popping noise. It doesn't mean that you just cracked or broke the bones of your hand. What actually occurred, just like in an adjustment, is gas pockets escaping from the joint.
There is no pain to be concerned about and over time and treatments, you may notice that the sounds stop or decrease. That means that the treatments are effective and the normal flexibility is returning to the region. The reason chiropractic adjustment is used so often is that it gently and effectively encourages the spine or joint to move back into its proper alignment. No amount of medication or pills you take will move your vertebrae into the correct position.
Now that you know there is nothing to fear, consider visiting a chiropractor for evaluation and help. While often feared originally the chiropractic adjustment is a specialized technique to promote increased flexibility of joints. The loss could be due to injury or illness. With the right information, you can overcome your fear and enjoy the benefits of treating your body in a holistic manner.

2021.12.01 07:04 theheadslacker Television or children's programming
I'm curious about the efficacy of watching kids' shows as a learning aid early on in the process of picking up a new language.
Since many of these shows (in English, anyway) use plain language and a slower speaking tempo, I'm wondering if it could be handy for acclimating the ear and for beginning to soak up vocabulary and syntax.
Anybody have experience in something like this? Heard of others who have?
I'm sure that as proficiency increases, one could swap to regular television programming. Immersion in a country's TV landscape could only help solidify the language and culture connection, right?

2021.12.01 07:04 shrutibmodi Need advice. Preschooler is Sick (cold-cough) every week
We started pre school for our 3 year old 4 months back. Before this, due to pandemic, he had very limited outside interaction
In last 4 months, he has a bout of cold almost 10-12 times. Runs for 3-4 days. No fever so he can still go to school. But I am so tired of him always being sick, which makes me sick too.
Is this normal? Any advice or do we just to sail through this?
